Waterford, Ireland. November 23rd 2010.Embedded Labs have today announced their OPC-UA Embedded Device Server Software Stack. The stack minimizes development cost, time to market and bill of materials cost for OEM’s that want to add OPC-UA Server functionality to their products. It was demonstrated at SPS/IPC/Drives 2010 in Nuremberg, Germany running on a low-cost ARM Cortex-M3 microcontroller with 64kB RAM in conjunction with GraphWorX64 from ICONICS.

The stack is an efficient, optimized implementation developed from first principles by Embedded Labs. It fully encapsulates the UA Address Space and UA Services and no knowledge of OPC-UA is required in order to integrate it into your product. There are no software limits on the number of sessions, subscriptions or monitored items. The stack is available to license in January 2011.
